We collect only the minimum data required to operate Windspeed VPN. This includes your email address, payment information, and basic account preferences. We never log the websites you visit, the apps you use, your DNS queries, your IP address, or your traffic content. Our servers run on RAM-only infrastructure that wipes on every reboot.
How We Use Your Data
Account information is used solely to authenticate your sessions, process payments, send service notifications, and respond to support requests. We never sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers. Aggregate, fully anonymized network metrics may be used to improve performance.
Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Support conversations are retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction.
Your Rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing privacy@windspeed.app. Residents of the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Cookies & Tracking
Our marketing site uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and a single, privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not set cross-site identifiers. The Windspeed apps themselves contain no third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or analytics beacons.
